Simplify the management
of your brand.
17+ years experience
in Real Estate marketing.
Even the best idea
will fail without a plan.
Push the Marketing is a brand-building firm specializing in residential Real Estate. We focus on the management side of marketing – helping busy companies get their marketing initiatives out of the idea phase and into action. We work with the team you have in place to streamline the basics, get things implemented, and ensure that they are scalable as your organization grows. Your brand is a reflection of how your business operates. As we complete each project, our priority is to elevate the brand and leave behind a manageable process for ongoing momentum.
Throughout the years of working with various owners, developers, managers and builders, there has never been a shortage of creative ideas. Our focus is on pushing them forward.
Rachel Kihn launched Push the Marketing, LLC in Fall 2016. With over 17 years of experience in all aspects of Real Estate branding and marketing, she focuses on implementation, planning, and management - to avoid the cycle of good ideas that fail or never get off the ground.
Prior to its acquisition, Rachel served as the Vice President of Marketing for University House Communities (aka Inland American Communities) for 12 years, managing all property and corporate-level marketing initiatives in multiple markets throughout the United States. She was directly responsible for development of the industry-leading University House brand and its successful implementation for over 25,000 beds/units nationwide. Her team specialized in the strategic marketing for new communities, consistently achieving 100% pre-leased status prior to construction completion. Before she entered the multifamily/student housing arena, Rachel was Director of Client Services for Denmark Advertising & Public Relations in Atlanta, creating and managing strategic marketing plans for national homebuilders as well as developers of mixed-use communities and luxury high-rise condominiums.
Rachel earned a BBA in Marketing from the University of New Mexico’s School of Management. She has been a featured speaker at the National Apartment Association’s Annual Conference, a contributor for Student Housing Business, and has also been known to crash the stage if a band is playing nearby.
